Summary
TikTok Utils uses local browser storage to remember your theme preference. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
TikTok content and third-party scripts are not loaded automatically. If you load the optional player preview, follow a TikTok link, or use generated embed code on another website, TikTok may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its policies.
What these technologies are
A cookie is a small text value stored by your browser for a website. Local storage is another browser feature that allows a preference to remain on your device without using a cookie. Similar technologies can also store or access information on a device.
Temporary application memory preserves tool inputs, previews, and results while you navigate within the current browser tab. It is not a cookie and is cleared by a full refresh or when the tab is closed.

This preference supports functionality requested through the site. It is not used to follow you across websites, build an advertising profile, or measure marketing performance.
Third-party storage and requests
TikTok
The tools validate and transform TikTok links locally and do not load TikTok content automatically. If you load the optional player preview, deliberately open a TikTok link, or use generated embed code elsewhere, TikTok may store or access cookies, local storage, or similar identifiers according to your browser, account, region, consent settings, and interaction.
Those third-party technologies are controlled by TikTok or the website where the embed is published, not by TikTok Utils. Generating the code on this site does not itself contact TikTok.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery, and security services. Security features may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology, for example when verifying legitimate traffic or completing a security challenge. The exact technology used depends on which Cloudflare security features are active and whether a request is challenged.
Further information is available in the TikTok Cookies Policy and Cloudflare cookie policy.
Advertising and analytics
TikTok Utils does not currently place advertising or analytics cookies. We may introduce advertising, including Google AdSense, or an analytics service in the future.
Before those technologies are enabled, this policy and the Privacy Policy will be updated. Where required, a suitable consent platform will prevent non-essential storage until you make a choice and will provide a way to review or change that choice.
How to control browser storage
Most browsers let you inspect, delete, or block cookies and local storage through their privacy or site-data settings. You can clear the theme value at any time. Blocking local storage may reset your theme preference but should not prevent the core tools from working.
Blocking third-party cookies, scripts, or embedded content may stop external TikTok links or embed code from working on other websites. Your TikTok privacy choices can also affect how embedded content behaves.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when storage practices change, including before TikTok Utils introduces its own advertising or analytics technology. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
